SYLVIA SANTILLÁN ARCHITECT - SCULPTOR - PLASTIC ARTIST 

The Artist Sylvia was born on May 13 in Mexico City

Obtained the knowledge of Arts and Letters from the Great Masters who came from Spain, and completed his Primary School at the Madrid School. 

 

She completed her Secondary Education at the Anglo Español Pedagogical School.

 

She enters at Preparatory No.7 of the UNAM, standing out by receiving the “National Prize for Oratory” and she also obtains the “Annual Prize in Declamation”

 

She completed her Degree in Architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico

 

And simultaneously studied Plastic Arts at the Academy of San Carlos.

Where she obtained the “Annual Painting Prize” awarded annually by said Institution. 

 

She received her Degree in Architecture from the Autonomous University of Mexico.

 

She completed her Master's Degree in Monument Restoration at UNAM Universiy. 

 

And she continues to Specialize in Housing.

 

She studies Watercolor at two different stages of her life.

One in her adolescence, and the other already being a Mother at the National Watercolor Museum with the Master Guaty Rojo. 

 

She completed another Career as a Professional Watercolorist, and received the “Honorable Mention” for this Museum.

 

Her Passion for Art makes her venture into studying a new Artistic Degree. 

 

She start to study The Sculpture and Human Anatomy.

For which she enters again the Prestigious Academy of San Carlos, with the Master Doctor Hermilo Castañeda. Taking a difficult and compromising path that is Figurative Sculpture.

 

Since in this she delves into Human Anatomy and The Light of Life.

 

It complements her Passion for the Form of the Human Body, and for perfecting herself by representing it by studying Artistic Anatomy-Nude, with the Master Jaime Levy.

 

And she acquires the precision and correct proportion of it when expressing it.

 

She, in turn, also studies other Pictorial Specialties with the Master Pedro Asencio at the Academy of San Carlos. 

 

She also study the Diploma in Espiral Aurea - Gold Section taught by Teacher Graciela Andrade in same Art School.

 

The Success of her Career has been her Passion and Perseverance for the Study of Art. 

 

Her Constant Reinvention and Innovation of her Proposals and Styles, combined with her Great Artistic and Human Quality, have consolidated her as the Great Artist that she is. 

 

All this has turned her into an Architect, Plastic Artist, Watercolorist, Draftsman and Sculptor. 

 

Therefore she has managed to take her Artistic Work to the Best Art Venues in the World such as: America, Europe, the Middle East and Mexico.
