SYLVIA SANTILLÁN ARCHITECT - SCULPTOR - PLASTIC ARTIST 

The Artist Sylvia was born on May 13 in Mexico City

Obtained the knowledge of Arts and Letters from the Great Masters who came from Spain, and completed his Primary School at the Madrid College

 

She completed her Secondary Education at the Madrid College 

​

She enters at Preparatory No.7 of the UNAM, standing out by receiving the “National Prize for Oratory” and she also obtains the “Annual Prize in Declamation”

 

She completed her Degree in Architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico

 

And simultaneously studied Plastic Arts at the Academy of San Carlos.

Where she obtained the “Annual Painting Prize” awarded annually by said Institution. 

 

She received her Degree in Architecture from the Autonomous University of Mexico.

 

She completed her Master's Degree in Monument Restoration at UNAM Universiy. 

 

And she continues to Specialize in Housing.

 

She studies Watercolor at two different stages of her life.

One in her adolescence, and the other already being a Mother at the National Watercolor Museum with the Master Guaty Rojo. 

 

She completed another Career as a Professional Watercolorist, and received the “Honorable Mention” for this Museum.

 

Her Passion for Art makes her venture into studying a new Artistic Degree. 

 

She start to study The Sculpture and Human Anatomy.

For which she enters again the Prestigious Academy of San Carlos, with the Master Doctor Hermilo Castañeda. Taking a difficult and compromising path that is Figurative Sculpture.

 

Since in this she delves into Human Anatomy and The Light of Life.

 

It complements her Passion for the Form of the Human Body, and for perfecting herself by representing it by studying Artistic Anatomy-Nude, with the Master Jaime Levy.

 

And she acquires the precision and correct proportion of it when expressing it.

 

She, in turn, also studies other Pictorial Specialties with the Master Pedro Asencio at the Academy of San Carlos. 

 

She also study the Diploma in Espiral Aurea - Gold Section taught by Teacher Graciela Andrade in same Art School.

 

The Success of her Career has been her Passion and Perseverance for the Study of Art. 

 

Her Constant Reinvention and Innovation of her Proposals and Styles, combined with her Great Artistic and Human Quality, have consolidated her as the Great Artist that she is. 

 

All this has turned her into an Architect, Plastic Artist, Watercolorist, Draftsman and Sculptor. 

 

Therefore she has managed to take her Artistic Work to the Best Art Venues in the World such as: America, Europe, the Middle East and Mexico.

SYLVIA SANTILLÁN

ARQUITECTA - ESCULTORA - ARTISTA PLÁSTICO

 

La Artista Sylvia Santillán Nace un 13 de mayo en la Ciudad de México, obtiene el conocimiento de las Artes y Letras de los Grandes Maestros que vinieron de España, y concluye su Primaria en el Colegio Madrid.

 

Su Secundaria la realiza en el Colegio Madrid.

 

Ingresa a la Preparatoria No.7 de la UNAM, destacándose al recibir el “Premio Nacional de Oratoria” y también obtiene el “Premio Anual en Declamación” 

 

Realiza su Carrera en Arquitectura en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, y paralelamente estudia Artes Plásticas en la Academia de San Carlos, donde obtiene el “Premio Anual de Pintura” que otorgaba anualmente dicha Institución.

 

Se recibe en Arquitectura en la Universidad Autónoma te México

 

Realiza su Maestría en Restauración de Monumentos en la Universidad UNAM.

 

Y continúa Especializándose en Vivienda.

 

Estudia Acuarela en dos diferentes etapas de su vida.

Una en la adolescencia, y la otra ya siendo Madre en el Museo Nacional de la Acuarela con el Maestro Guaty Rojo.

Realiza otra Carrera como Acuarelista Profesional, y recibe la “Mención Honorifica” por este Museo.

 

Su Pasión por el Arte la hace incursionar en estudiar una nueva Carrera Artística.

 

La Carrera de Escultura y La Anatomía Humana.

Por la cual ingresa nuevamente a la Prestigiosa Academia de San Carlos, con el Maestro Doctor Hermilo Castañeda.

 

Llevando un camino difícil y comprometedor que es La Escultura Figurativa. 

Ya que en esta se adentra en la Anatomía Humana y La Luz de la Vida.

 

Complementa su Pasión por la Forma del Cuerpo Humano, y por perfeccionarse al representarlo estudiando Anatomía Artística - Desnudo, con el Maestro Jaime Levy. Y adquiere la precisión y su correcta proporción al plasmarlo.

 

A su vez también estudia otras Especialidades Pictóricas con el Maestro Pedro Asencio en la Academia de San Carlos.

 

Estudio el Diplomado en Espiral Aurea - Sección de Oro impartido por la Maestra Graciela Andrade en el mismo recinto.

 

El Éxito de su Carrera ha sido su Pasión y Perseverancia por el Estudio del Arte.

 

Su Constante Reinvención e Innovación de sus Propuestas y Estilos, aunado a su gran Calidad Artística y Humana, la han consolidado como la gran Artista que es.

 

Todo esto la han convertido en Arquitecta, Artista Plástico, Acuarelista, Dibujante y Escultora.

 

Por lo cual ha logrado llevar su Obra Artística a los Mejores Recintos de Arte del Mundo como son en América, Europa, Medio Oriente y México.
